My artwork focuses on angst, especially teenage angst. Most of the figures depicted in my work shows a young woman with long black hair and in isolated settings. The artwork reflects my emotional and mental well-being during quarantine as a result of being cooped up indoors for months. Therefore, I used art as a coping mechanism. Each piece depicts different variations of angst from anxiety, loneliness, envy, grief, stress, and depression.

Anyone experiences angst, regardless of age, gender, race and sexual orientation. I decided to narrow it down and angst that centers on teenage and or young adults. The reason for that is because young adults go through so much especially when transitioning into adulthood, which can feel overwhelming at times. Hence why my artwork reflects on those emotions consisting of despair and anxiety.
