For the midterm critique, I got a B- on my project. Personally, the grade is not so bad but at the same time, I could've done better. I'm hoping to do better in the finale critique, since I have a lot to work on.

During spring break, I did a couple of drawings, particularly this piece consisting of two characters at a table surrounded by multiple plates of food. The drawing seems a bit random but I could connect it to my graphic novel where the characters adapt to living in the alternate universe and are tempted by the plentiful amount of food that is served to them. I was inspired by the movie Coraline, where the Other Mother lures Coraline with food and similar to the movie, food is one of the ways the characters in the novel are drawn to the alternate universe.

As of continuing the comic, I will most likely make small scale drawings that represent the upside of the teens living in the parallel universe and then later on, try to transition on the negative aspects of the alternate universe. After that, I will make more storyboards for the rest of the story.
