Blog 4-Ted Talk on Raghava KK

After going through multiple videos centering on different artists, the one artist who connects to me the most was Raghava KK. What makes KK be an artist that connects to me was the fact that he experimented, in which he started off as a cartoonist, then moved on to painting and briefly, fashion. Because KK had gone through different stages as an artist, his art style and preference varied, from cartoon caricatures, to painting dancers and grotesque nudes that explores the weakness of male sexuality. The artist describes his work to be spontaneous, whimsical, and even violent which I find interesting, considering the variety he has from his work. Like Raghava KK, I too have tried experimenting in Art, and after going through different mediums, from painting, to fashion, to movie making, I was able to find my passion: illustrating graphic novels.
